Back to health...

Thank you all for your best wishes. Everyone here at Pear Tree Cottage is back to health and enjoying the gorgeous weather we have at the moment...

There's nothing better than alfresco dining to put a smile on your face, especially when your country's team just bombed out of the world cup!

I've missed you all and will be popping in to say "hi" very soon.

Wishing you a sunny week, where ever you are.

Tonsillitus, conjunctivitus, impetigo, oh my!

We are sick. All of the aforementioned illnesses are happily breeding in my home at present.

It. is. not. pleasant.

Back soon...

...I hope!

Blue paper packages tied up with string...

Little Bee made it's first on-line sale yesterday! My appliqued cupcake napkins have been wrapped up and are making their way to a lovely customer in London. I'm so excited! From little acorns mighty oaks grow...

Tomorrow Little Bee will be at our school fete; we're hoping for some sunshine! Anything I have left from the day will go into my shop so keep a look out for some new pretties.

Have a lovely weekend,

Sun, kids a bucket and a hose...

The kids have just spent a week at home on their half term holidays. I had planned a trip to the butterfly museum and a visit to the local fun park, but we had so much fun at home we didn't get around to either. Although we seem to have returned to 'The Norm' for the UK; grey and cold, the weekend was blissful and the kids took full advantage with the hosepipe and a few buckets....

Do you think maybe Max is enjoying this a little bit too much!?

It's a good job Eva is my little 'toughie'!

Who needs to spend money going to fun parks?

Mr Sunshine...

Dear Mr Sunshine,

I can't tell you how pleased I am to have you back in my life. I know you may think me needy and obsessive, but I really can't live without you. When I wake up with you you give me strength to face the day. You give me confidence and make me take more care of myself. People even say I look more radiant when you're around.

The problem I have at the moment is with your lack of commitment. One minute you're here and then the next I don't see you for like..a week. That cannot be considered a healthy relationship. Are you with someone else? I need you to be around more. Please... you make me so happy.

All my love, forever.

Playing with food...

I'm forever telling Eva off for playing with her food. This morning she presented me with this...

...I let her off this time! Happy Monday :O)
